Traditional Female Cap

This is a traditional cap wear in almost every area of Gilgit Baltistan by every women. basically elder women wear this cap. The history of cap is that it is origin for Turkey. and we adopt this culture cap. now a days in Hunza, Gilgit, yasin, ghizar in these areas the elder women wear this cap. it is now been our part of culture. as you seen a jewellery with this cap hanging on it basically this is know to be “sisilla”. usually this is wear at wedding ceremonies, by the bride. The way of design of this jewellery was specially made for culture cap. this culture cap is also made by almost every women of above mention areas. so it handicraft, fully hand made cap. it took many days to make this cap. usually design is select by every individual by their own and it has a standard procedure to make this. we usually like bright colours and it reflect the happiness, we are peace loving people in every handicraft their is message in it. the colours, the way of look and everything reflects itself a meaning full lesson and message to the world.
